Ascend: Redefining old Buildings with a modern touch
A historic building was reimagined into a sleek residential apartment, blending modern aesthetics with its rich architectural legacy.

Overview:
The Ascend project transformed an old building's interiors into sleek, modern spaces through photorealistic 3D visualizations. Using AutoCAD drawings from the client’s interior design firm, we collaborated closely with that team to ensure precision, avoid miscommunications, and accelerate the process. Advanced lighting, material design, andpost-processing techniques were used to create visuals tailored for marketing and presentations, seamlessly blending modern aesthetics into the existing architecture.
- Focused on seamless blending of modern design elements with existing architectural features.
- Delivered renders optimized for both digital marketing campaigns and print materials.

Key techniques:
These key features are only some of what were used during the project.
- Advanced Lighting Techniques: Used light path nodes for accurate photorealism and realistic shadows.
- Custom Material Design: Created PBR materials for wood, concrete, and glass textures.
- Post-Processing in Blender: Used Blender's compositor for color grading and depth of field.
- Camera Composition: Applied focal length adjustments for engaging perspectives.

Results:
The Ascend project successfully delivered photorealistic 3D renders that met and exceeded client expectations. By combining advanced techniques and seamless collaboration, we achieved:
- Precise visual representation of modern design elements integrated with existing architecture.
- 6 High-quality renders optimized for marketing purposes across digital and print platforms.
- Accelerated project completion due to efficient workflows and direct collaboration with the design team.
This project stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence in 3D architectural visualization.
